Vanessa graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Monash and has since been in the accounting and advisory industry for five and a bit years – starting with bookkeeping work and then moving into individual tax returns. Vanessa then became the primary accountant for her client base where she’s really been able to step up into the work she now enjoys at Future.

Vanessa’s interested in learning about the backbone of a business, and diving into how the numbers tie into its purpose. The accounting industry’s broad nature is what drew her to it in the first place. Now, she loves the people aspect of it, connecting with clients more intentionally and being able to see and learn what they’ve created with their business!

Future’s professional development opportunities made Vanessa interested in what we do and learning more about how we value and nurture our team had her clicking ‘apply’! CPA vs CA? She’s about to enrol for CPA, so CPA it is! The P in CPA stands for partying, surely?

Left and right brain are firing for Vanessa – that’s correct, creative accountants do exist. Just ask her crocheting. She’s also a big foodie and ideally you’ll find her at a cafe doing some dog spotting on the weekend.
