A dedicated adviser and annual planning for a terpene-based wellness drink start-up.
PURUS is a wellness brand founded by Bopha that makes clean bioactive products without artificial stimulants, starting with terpene-based drinks. Her dedicated Future Advisory adviser, Antoine, helped set up the business infrastructure and works through annual planning with her, so she knows what is expected financially and that her obligations are met.
Who they are
Bopha studied at Oxford University and has worked with QUT professors who have more than 30 years of terpenes research behind them. Allergic to alcohol and excess caffeine, she was always the one ordering sparkling water at corporate functions. When COVID hit, she started making her own terpene drinks, using botanical plant oils to create something she could enjoy without side effects.
What they do
PURUS, Latin for purity, makes clean bioactive wellness products without artificial stimulants. Its pilot products are functional drinks that use terpenes as their main bioactive, which Bopha says no other drink does. At the time of the interview, PURUS had just launched a gummies range, with more products planned.
