Ernest Performance is a brand-agnostic custom golf club fitting business founded by Nick. While learning every side of running a business at once, Nick relied on Future Advisory for accounting, and says it has helped him plan and make decisions based on numbers.
Who they are
Nick wanted to play golf professionally. When he realised that might never happen, he focused on the one variable he could control, his equipment, and found he loved helping other golfers do the same. He saw a gap in supporting golfers over the long term, rather than through the one-off fitting appointments most are used to.
What they do
Custom club fitting with a tour-level experience, using a true custom suite of clubs rather than fitting kits. Ernest Performance is not tied to any brand: it works with Titleist, Callaway and TaylorMade as well as specialist brands such as Miura and L.A.B. Golf. The business covers club fitting, coaching and memberships. At the time of the interview, Nick was preparing to open an eight-bay simulator membership facility in Prahran in early 2026.
